Boško Jović finished Elementary and Music High School of Zenica in 1999, with professor Ljubinko Jović.
He has graduated in 2004 at the Academy of Music of Sarajevo, department for Ethnomusicology. In 2006, he finished his bachelor studies in guitar at the Academy of Music of East Sarajevo, with professor Zoran Krajišnik. He gains master degree in 2010 at the Academy of Music of Sarajevo in class of professor Alexander Swete.

Since 2000, he has been a professor at the Music High School of Sarajevo, and his students have won several prizes on national and international competitions. Besides classical music, he actively performs with World Music, Jazz and Pop artists. Among others, he frequently performs with sevdah diva Amira Medunjanin, as well as with Stjepan Hauser (member of “2cellos”) and lutenist Edin Karamazov.

Since 1994, he has performed as a soloist with the Chamber symphony orchestra Zenica, String quartet “2007” and Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra. He performed in Austria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Great Britain, Serbia, Turkey, Italy, Montenegro, Belgium, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, India and Norway. As a studio artist he has made several recordings for the movie industry, among others, he has recorded for the movies “Twice Born” and “Jasmina”. Under the label of “Aquarius Records” from Croatia he published his debut album “Buđenje” in 2014 which was received very well by audience and critics. Since 2013, he is Yamaha guitars endorser
